The brand LOPIA was founded more than ten years ago from an Icelandic wool lover with the difficult name, Guðríður Jóna Örlygsdóttir, usually called Jóna.

She has been knitting since she was a young girl, with a deep passion for creating new styles and designs made from unique Icelandic wool. Over the years, LOPIA has sold worldwide on Etsy, earning hundreds of five-star reviews. For the first time, it’s now possible to order directly from her.

All orders are handmade after special wishes from the customers so each order can take up to 3 weeks. In busy times she seeks for assistance and has few, but very skilled knitters in her team. The models on the photos are her kids or relatives, the photographer is in the family so the business has a very personal touch.
