The following terms apply to the online store lopia.is. We reserve the right to update these terms and our privacy policy at any time without prior notice.
Prices and Payments
All prices in the online store are listed in Icelandic króna (ISK) and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
We accept payments with major credit and debit cards through a secure payment gateway. Card details are not stored by lopia.is – all card processing takes place through the secure payment gateway.
Delivery
Custom orders: All products are hand-knitted to order, unless otherwise specified. The delivery time is generally 12–20 business days but may be longer during peak periods or in the case of very complex designs.
Stock items: Orders for items in stock are usually processed within 2–4 business days from receipt of payment.
Shipping: All orders are shipped via Iceland Post and include a tracking number. Shipping costs are added during checkout and displayed before payment is made.
International Sales
Products are also sold outside Iceland. Customers outside of Iceland are responsible for any fees, duties, and taxes that may apply in the destination country.
Returns and Refunds
The customer has 14 days from receipt of the product to return it, provided that the product has not been used and is in its original condition and packaging.
Products can be exchanged for another item or refunded.
Products in very unusual sizes or rare color combinations are non-refundable.
The customer pays for return shipping, except in cases of obvious defects.
Privacy
We place great emphasis on the security and confidentiality of all personal information. Personal information provided during ordering is only used to:
process the order,
provide customer service,
maintain records and accounting.
We never share customer information with third parties unless required by law.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are in accordance with Icelandic law. Any disputes arising shall be brought before the District Court of Reykjavík.
